Why BLADEBEAT?

A familiar habit. Rethought.

The problem

Hair, shaving foam and residue can build up between the razor blades. So many of us instinctively tap our razor on the edge of the sink or other hard bathroom surfaces. This can leave hair and foam residue on the sink and other bathroom surfaces.

The idea behind BLADEBEAT

BLADEBEAT builds on this familiar habit and gives it a cleaning surface specially designed for it. Three different functional zones let you gently tap and wipe the razor head. Then simply rinse with water as usual.

How to clean your razor with BLADEBEAT

01SOFTTAP

Tap gently

With SoftTap, BLADEBEAT offers a smooth, flexible surface developed specifically for tapping the razor head – instead of using the edge of the sink or other hard bathroom surfaces.

02MICROLIFT

Tap on microstructures

The MicroLift zone features fine microstructures on which the razor head is gently tapped. They were designed with the aim of helping to loosen hair, foam and residue between the razor blades.

03WAVECLEAN

Wipe

The wave structure lets the razor head glide gently across the surface. It is designed to help wipe away loosened residue.

Then rinse your razor with water as usual.

Razor cleaning FAQ

How do you clean a wet razor properly?

Rinse the razor head regularly with water during and after shaving. With many multi-blade razors, it can help to rinse water through the cartridge from back to front. Then carefully remove excess water and let the razor air dry. Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions.

What should you do if your razor is clogged with hair?

Hair, shaving foam and residue can build up between the razor blades. Rinse the razor head thoroughly with water. With razor heads designed for it, rinsing from the back can help. Avoid knocking the razor hard against the sink, and never reach between the sharp blades with your fingers.

Why not just tap your razor on the edge of the sink?

Tapping on the edge of the sink or other hard bathroom surfaces can leave hair and foam residue on those surfaces. Whether and how a razor head should be tapped depends on the model – so follow the cleaning recommendations of your razor’s manufacturer. BLADEBEAT offers a flexible surface developed specifically for tapping the razor head – instead of using the edge of the sink or other hard bathroom surfaces.

What is BLADEBEAT?

BLADEBEAT is a compact cleaning pad for wet razors with three different functional zones: SoftTap, MicroLift and WaveClean. It was developed as a complementary cleaning surface for gently tapping and wiping the razor head. The razor is then rinsed with water. Always follow the razor manufacturer’s care instructions.

Does BLADEBEAT replace rinsing with water?

No. BLADEBEAT is intended as a complementary cleaning aid. Rinsing with water remains an important part of cleaning your razor.

Can you use BLADEBEAT on the go?

Yes. Thanks to its compact size, BLADEBEAT is easy to take with you – whether you’re traveling, camping, staying in a hotel or packing your gym bag. That way, you always have a dedicated cleaning surface for your razor, even on the go.

Can I buy BLADEBEAT yet?
